Seaghan Is an EMDRIA Approved Consultant™️ and an EMDRIA Approved Trainer™️. He’s also a trauma therapist in the MICA / trauma services department at ECMC in Buffalo. He provides integrative psychotherapy to individuals with long history of abuse, neglect, trauma, dissociation, and addiction. He is the lead trainer for departmental staff and the EMDRIA Approved Consultant™️across the ECMC Hospital system. He is trained in DBT, ACT, attachment/re-parenting work, schema focused therapy and MBSR. He provides consultation for consultees working with adults. He specializes in simple and complex trauma, association and other ego state disorders, attachment/re-parenting and emotional deprivation schema work.

Mary Nixon, LCSW-r
Mary has been practicing since 1990 and an EMDRIA Certified Therapist™️since 2012. She worked at Baker Victory Services as a therapist and clinical coordinator for 14 years. Mary became certified in EMDR in March, 2014. Mary has been in private practice since 2004 and currently sees individual adults ages 18 and up. She also worked for some years with elderly clients and caregivers. Her focus now is trauma work, childhood abuse, PTSD and anxiety. Mary has also worked extensively with dissociation an will be doing training’s on this topic for our WNY EMDR community. She also worked for about 5 years with UB social work students, as an outside supervisor in their placements. Mary is a Certified Consultant.

LISA PREFONTAINE, LMHC
Lisa Prefontaine LMHC is an EMDRIA Certified Therapist™️ and an EMDRIA Approved Consultant™️. Lisa has practiced EMDR since 2013 and plans on becoming a trainer for EMDR and trains on other trauma-related modalities. After being in practice for over 15 years, other therapeutic specialties include DBT, Co-occuring disorders, Perinatal disorders, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Ego State/Parts work, Complex Trauma, and Brainspotting. Lisa has primarily worked with an adult population but has experience with adolescents and children. Stacey Stevens LMHC
Stacey has been a practicing clinician in the Buffalo area since 1997. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from SUNY at Buffalo, and a Master’s Degree from Canisius College, she has been fortunate to have worked for leading local mental health agencies. Those agencies provided extensive training and experiences that Stacey now brings to her private practice. Clinically, Stacey’s focus is on the special needs of those affected by trauma. This includes the counseling of children who have been the victim of sexual abuse, as well as adults, adolescents and families of those who have been affected by sexual violence. She is an approved consultant.
