The Center for Healing Intelligence is offering ketamine assisted psychotherapy in Amherst. KAP can lead to significant breakthroughs in therapy. We can support your clients with KAP while you remain their main therapist. We can also offer client EMDR in conjunction with KAP, and have an in-house KAP prescriber.
We are located on 3960 Harlem Rd.
Contact Ofer Ziv or Dr. Greg Loewen for more information.
From Laurie Belanger, LCSW-R:
I've decided to start a free book club this summer to help those of us interested in reading the new text- The Handbook of Complex Trauma and Dissociation in Children, edited by Jillian Hosey and Ana Gomez. It's an intimidating 900+ pages, but worth it! I'm breaking the book into a reading plan that will have us finishing the book within 12months. Some of the authors of various chapters will make an appearance in this live on-line monthly meet up to answer questions about their contribution. Therapists are welcome to join every month or just drop in during the months that cover particular chapters. The reading schedule will be posted soon!

I've decided to offer a monthly on-line Lunch -n- Learn starting this summer for EMDR Therapists trying to integrate the SSP (Safe and Sound Protocol) into therapy. Once a month Laurie Belanger LCSWR ( Unyte Approved SSP Mentor & EMDRIA Approved EMDR Consultant) will host an open lunch hour to discuss SSP/EMDR Integration. Attendees are welcome to bring questions (no PHI please), share experiences, and enjoy explanations and some unpacking of the SSP/EMDR Guidelines. The goal is to offer a less costly, drop-in version of Group Mentorship for EMDR Clinicians to help encourage integration of this effective Polyvagal based tool.
Event Timing: Every third Monday from 12-1pm EST beginning July 21st, 2025 It's $20 a session. This is much more affordable than 1:1 SSP Mentorship or most SSP Mentorship Groups. Some months may be just a few of us, others may be a large group. Here's the link to register:

EMDR Clubhouse
The EMDR Clubhouse is a monthly meeting held to provide space for clinicians with EMDRIA approved EMDR training to discuss everything EMDR. Often, the meetings center around a certain topic. Clinicians are able to bounce ideas off one another and network. Meetings are
held at 3960 Harlem Rd. Suite 6B, Buffalo, NY 14226. We provide a virtual link for those who cannot attend in person. If you have any questions or want to become more involved, please reach out to Kristin Adduci, LMHC at wnyemdrclubhouse@gmail.com.
